PIXAR - smiles all the way :)

Talking about things that bring happiness to me, how can I not mention Pixar! Pixar has always been a part of my growing up and I am such a hard fan. Every time I have a new Pixar movie to watch, I am as excited as a child and every time a movie is over , I desperately wait for the next one.

My love towards Pixar movies started when my brother brought home a CD of the movie 'Cars'. having been brought up in a part of Kerala, India, where movies in languages other than Malayalam were seldom played in theaters, it was no surprise that I had not known about the earlier releases, or even the existence, of Pixar studios.

Watching 'Cars' was a great experience. I was fascinated by the colors and the expressions on the animated car faces, I was left searching for more such animations from Pixar. The backdrop of the story, the place where its set, the various characters in it, everything about the movie is so adorable.

The finesse in creating a character and ability to weave an excellent story around it has been Pixars strength over other animation movie creators. Be it the Toy Story series, Ratatouille, The Incredibles or Up every movie has a realistic line to it, which allows the viewer to relate to the movie, making the experience extremly personal. When WALL-E was released, I was shocked how a movie with no dialogues could perfectly give audience a feel of emotions like love, fear, longing and trust through merely 2 characters, that too robots!! I was amazed how human emotions could be brought on the faces of two small robots. Never once have I watched a Pixar movie and not liked any aspect in it. It has always been perfect in every way.

Pixar also has numerous short films to its credit, proving to audience that they need just a few minutes to tell a story and make the viewer feel emotions that mainstream movies take a couples of hours to accomplish.

I am ,as an ardent fan waiting for more magic from the studio.
